Delivered over the two weeks by our amazing tutor Rhi, she will support you on your basic work skills including interviewing, CV’s, understanding business process, teamwork and research.
Every afternoon in the first week between 15:00-16:30, you have the chance to listen to our clients deliver short presentations followed by Q&A’s based on their company and the roles they are recruiting for.
Monday morning week 2 sees candidates split into groups and are presented with a series of technical and non-technical problems that you’ll need to solve. Our clients will be moving around the teams to see how you approach problems and work within teams.
A variation on the TV show. Split into teams with only 24 hours notice, you will pitch your tech business idea to a panel of clients (the Dragons). Clients will provide constructive feedback on the product, presentation skills and test your understanding.
A frantic afternoon on the penultimate day of Camp. Interviews with clients last for only 5 minutes which allows you to apply feedback from the previous interview to the next one. It’s an excellent way for you to have one-on-one time with a large number of employers.
The course will be led by key members of the Incredibly crew, so each applicant will benefit from real insights and experience from industry leading professionals, and really see how their work contributes.
In the afternoons our applicants spend time out at Work Trials and Interviews with the partners that they met during Reboot Camp. All with the goal of securing an Apprenticeship and being accepted onto the Tech City Stars programme.
For those that secure roles early with Tech City Stars they can start work immediately following Incredibly Skilled. For everyone else that successfully completes Reboot Camp and Incredibly Skilled they will continue to gain valuable skills through the Tech City Stars Work Experience programme.
